Are you sure you downloaded the correct file from Silverlock? The correct one for the SE ver sion is: " Current SE build 2.0.10 (runtime 1.5.53): 7z archive " (I have not copied the link because they want all downloads to go through the site.) The version number may be different when you download the file.ģ. So you may have to wait for SKSE to update.Ģ. Skyrim just had an update and I have been avoiding this new update because I expect it will break SKSE. I ran into this problem but don't really remember it. I took screenshots of the error and my skyrim folder but they are too large to attach. I am able to launch Skyrim via Steam, Vortex or the desktop icon that was created when the game was installed, but of course SKSE will not work. However, I am receiving an error when I try to launch Skyrim with the skse_loader.exe stating 'Couldn't find TESV.exe.' My skyrim folder contains SkyrimSE.exe and SkyrimSELauncher.exe but no TESV.exe. I installed SKSE64 and it seemed to go fine. I did a complete wipe (mods and game) and redownloaded the game from Steam. I decided to start a new Skyrim SE game from the ground up.
